Terms of Service

Effective November 2, 2026

These terms apply when you use tensorhunter.com or buy, download or use software published by TensorHunter. The general terms apply to everything we offer; the product sections after them add the terms for each product.

General terms

Who we are

TensorHunter is the brand under which Tiannan Zhao, an individual based in the United States, publishes software (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at support@tensorhunter.com.

Buying through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service for payments and orders, and handles returns.

When you buy, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Paddle takes your payment, collects any taxes and sends your receipt. Prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes: the price you see is the price you pay.

Your license

Our software is licensed, not sold. When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the product on the number of Macs your purchase covers, under these terms. You may not resell, rent or redistribute the software or its license keys, or try to get around its licensing, except where the law allows you to despite this restriction.

Changes

We may update our products and this website. If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. A change does not take away rights you already have from an earlier purchase.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make our products reliable, but to the extent the law allows, they are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be limited by contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the U.S. state where we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

EncorePad

What you buy

EncorePad is a one-time purchase in three options: 1 Mac for $4.99, 2 Macs for $8.99, and 3 Macs for $11.99 (USD, taxes included). Each license key activates one Mac. A purchase for 2 or 3 Macs includes 2 or 3 separate license keys that work independently of each other.

EncorePad purchases are not open yet. These terms describe how purchases will work once they open.

Free trial and free version

EncorePad includes a 7-day trial of all features for each Mac. The trial starts when EncorePad first connects to our server and lasts 7 × 24 hours by our server’s clock. Reinstalling EncorePad or deleting its data does not restart the trial.

When the trial ends, the free version keeps working: you can open the app grid from its icon, browse, search and launch apps, and your layout stays exactly as it was.

Updates

One purchase includes every future version of EncorePad, including new features and support for new versions of macOS. We can’t promise that future versions of macOS will always allow EncorePad to work; if one doesn’t, we will announce it in advance.

Activation and license checks

Once you activate a license key on a Mac, EncorePad keeps working on that Mac without an internet connection, even if our server is unavailable. When the Mac is online, EncorePad checks its license with our server from time to time.

If an order is fully refunded or the payment is charged back, all license keys from that order are revoked, and each Mac using them returns to the free version at its next successful license check. Your layout is kept.

Moving to another Mac

You can unbind EncorePad from a Mac in its settings as often as you like, then activate the same key on another Mac. If you no longer have the old Mac, you can release it remotely with the license key, up to 2 times per key per year. If you need more, email support@tensorhunter.com.

System requirements

EncorePad requires macOS 26 or later.
